The Grayson County Rise and Passage Juvenile Drug Court is seeking dedicated mentors to support the youth within our program.

We believe that community involvement is a cornerstone of success; as the saying goes, "it takes a village," and our mission relies on the active participation of local leaders and role models. By volunteering your time, you provide these young individuals with the guidance and stability necessary to navigate their challenges and build a brighter future.

We invite the community to join us in this vital effort. Your mentorship can make a profound difference in a young person's life and the overall health of our community.

On behalf of Grayson County Juvenile Services, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Texoma Community Center (TCC) for their invaluable contribution to our recent parent support session.

We truly appreciate the TCC team for dedicating their time to providing life-saving training on the proper administration of Narcan. In addition to this essential education, providing each attending family with a complimentary Narcan kit offers a critical layer of safety and support for our community.

Partnerships like these are vital to our mission, and we are honored to work alongside an organization so committed to the well-being of Grayson County families.

On behalf of the Grayson County Juvenile Probation RISE Court, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Waples Memorial United Methodist Church in Denison, Texas, for their generous support.

Through their funding, our RISE participants were recently able to enjoy a reward trip to Dave & Buster’s for arcade games, followed by a meal at Rosa’s Cafe. This outing served as a meaningful celebration of the hard work these youth have put into reaching both their individual milestones and their collective group goals within the program.

We are deeply appreciative of Waples Memorial United Methodist Church’s commitment to our youth and their investment in the success of the RISE Court.

Grayson County Juvenile Services was proud to host an impactful community training, and the turnout was incredible.

More than 200 professionals, parents, educators, law enforcement officers, and community leaders joined us to learn, connect, and take action. We were honored to welcome nationally recognized speaker Jermaine “Tall Cop Says Stop” Galloway, who delivered powerful insight on the substance abuse trends affecting our youth.

We can’t express enough how thankful we are for our strongest supporters: Chief Dr. Greg Sumpter, Assistant Chief Latonya Moore, Kermit Hill and Laura Wheeler from the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office, and Judges Brian Gary from the 397th District Court and Rick Dunn from County Court at Law #2, who lead our R.I.S.E. and P.A.S.S.A.G.E. Courts. Your continued support and commitment to the youth and families we serve makes a lasting impact.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped spread the word. Events like this remind us what’s possible when we work together. Let’s keep building a safer, stronger future for our youth.

Grayson County Juvenile Services was honored to attend the First Annual AdvisingGenz Leaders Illuminating Futures Luncheon. Alongside the Honorable Judge Dunn, we proudly accepted the Team Achievement Award for our collaboration with AdvisingGenz through the Passage Court Program, which provides substance abuse treatment for low-risk youth.

The luncheon offered a valuable opportunity to connect with other organizations that share our mission of empowering youth and strengthening communities.

We are grateful to serve alongside passionate professionals who are committed to creating brighter futures for the young people we support.

Thank you to the Bison Ranch for hosting such an amazing event. We are looking forward to attending again next year.
