The magic is returning to Downtown Denison! ⛸️✨

Sponsorship opportunities for the 2026–27 season of Denison on Ice are officially LIVE.

As we prepare for another season of creating holiday memories, bringing families together, and welcoming thousands of visitors to our community, we invite local businesses and organizations to be part of the experience. Denison on Ice offers a unique opportunity to connect with residents and visitors while supporting one of Denison’s favorite holiday traditions.

This season, the rink will be open November 21, 2026 through January 3, 2027, bringing six weeks of festive fun to the heart of Downtown Denison.

☀️ Summer Pool Schedule Changes Begin June 1, 2026 ☀️

As summer swim lessons and Dolphin Swim Team begin, please note that adult swim and fitness schedules will adjust for the summer season beginning Monday, June 1.

🏊 Adult Hydrofitness & Lap Swim Hours
🕔 5:00 AM – 8:30 AM
🕙 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

⚠️ Important Reminder:
There are no adult classes, lap swim, or hydrofitness from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM due to Dolphin Swim Team practices.

For the safety and privacy of our young swimmers, all adults must be completely out of the pool and dressing rooms by 9:00 AM each morning.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage, dedication, and love for this nation will never be forgotten.

As flags wave across our community and flowers are placed in our cemeteries, we reflect with gratitude on the lives that helped protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Starting Tuesday, May 26th, our summer pool schedule officially begins following Memorial Day weekend! 🏊🌊

Join us all summer long for afternoons full of swimming, sunshine, and fun at the pool!

We’re back! 💦☀️
Waterloo Pool reopens tomorrow, May 19th, and we’re ready to welcome everyone back for another great season!

Starting tomorrow, the pool will open at 5:30 AM and operate on its normal schedule, weather permitting.

Thank you for your patience during the closure—we’re excited to have the doors open again and the water ready for you!

🚧 Trail Closure Notice 🚧

The Katy Trail Phase II Project will begin shortly. Beginning May 15, 2026, the section of the Katy Trail beyond the pedestrian bridge at Loy Lake extending approximately to Flowers Road will be closed and inaccessible to pedestrians.

Please note: This closure does not affect Katy Trail Phase I, which will remain open and available for public use.

These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance and expand the Katy Trail experience for our community. The closure will remain in effect for the foreseeable future while construction is underway.

Once the trail is ready to reopen, an additional notification will be shared. We appreciate your patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
