What a wonderful way to wrap up the first week at our Middle School!

Yesterday, students had the opportunity to hear from professional speaker Doug Reavis with You Uplift, who shared his powerful story of being a bully in middle school and how one person helped change the path he was on. That experience inspired him to become someone who lifts others up and stands up for others.

His message was a powerful reminder that one action, one person, can create a ripple of change—a perfect tie into the Middle School's "Be the Reason" 26-27 theme.

We are excited to see the positive ripples our middle school students create throughout the school year!

HS English 2 started the school year with a little teamwork challenge! Students practiced group work skills and expectations with a “Stack the Cups” challenge. Using strings attached to a rubber band, teams had to work together to move and stack the cups—while only the group leader could talk! 🤫

There were plenty of laughs, teamwork, and problem-solving during this activity. What a fun way to start the year and build those collaboration skills! 💜💛

💜💛 Last week, nearly 40 of our Junior students gave up part of their final days of summer break to become Link Crew Leaders and welcome our newest Vikings to high school!

After a full day of Link Crew Leader training, students returned for Freshman Orientation, where they welcomed the incoming freshman class, led small-group activities, gave tours, and shared their own “secret tips” for navigating high school at Denmark.

These new connections don't stop after orientation. Freshmen are encouraged to reach out to their Link Crew Leaders throughout the school year whenever they have questions or need a little help along the way. We think the writing on the back of the Link Crew shirts say it perfectly: “You've Got a Friend in Me.”

We are incredibly proud of our Junior Link Crew Leaders for choosing to spend their time building new friendships, supporting younger students, and helping our Freshman Vikings feel welcomed. We hope our freshman class is off to a great start and putting some of those Link Crew tips to good use!

Let’s give a big welcome to one of our newest staff members!🤩

Meet Mr. Evan Rank, our new High School Social Studies Teacher. Evan grew up in Luxemburg, Wisconsin, and earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UW-Green Bay. This is Evan’s second year of teaching, following his first year in the Antigo School District. He is excited to continue his teaching career here in Denmark and become part of our school community!

In his spare time, Evan enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, golfing, and watching sports. He is a big fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Marquette basketball, so he’ll fit right in with plenty of our local sports fans!

Evan shared with us that he is happy to be back in a close-knit community and is looking forward to making a positive, lasting impact on his students and their families this year. We’re excited to welcome him to Denmark High School and can’t wait to see the difference he makes in our classrooms and community!

Welcome to Denmark, Mr. Rank! We’re so glad you’re here!💜💛

Let’s give a big welcome to one of our newest staff members!🤩

Meet Ms. Ella Keuler, our new High School Science Teacher. Ella graduated from Wrightstown High School before attending UW-Green Bay, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Education. She spent the past two years teaching science at Mishicot High School and is excited to bring her experience and passion for science to Denmark High School!

Ella currently lives in Wrightstown with her boyfriend and their dog, Millie. She has always been part of the extended community and loves calling this area home. In her free time, Ella enjoys being the “cool aunt” to her seven nieces and nephews. She also loves spending time with family and friends, exploring new places—including trails, restaurants, and local coffee shops—and enjoying the outdoors through fishing. When she’s not exploring, you might find her attending a concert!

Ella shared with us that she is excited to become part of such a supportive team and community. We’re excited to welcome her to Denmark High School and can’t wait to see all she brings to our students and classrooms!

Welcome to Denmark, Ms. Keuler! We’re so glad you’re here!💜💛
