Our crews will be out today salting township roads. As temperatures plummet overnight, residents are reminded that the lowest effective temperature for road deicer is about 20 degrees. If possible, avoid driving during freezing road and black ice conditions.

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday! STAY WARM!

When temperatures drop below 20F, a blend with chlorine salt can improve the deicing capability of rock salt.

Township offices will be closed Friday, November 11th in observation of Veterans Day. Area 2 Bulk Trash Collection scheduled for Friday, November 11th will be collected Monday, November 14th.

Message from Dennis Township Code Enforcement Official:
Please remember that due to the winter and snow storms that arise, please park any and all vehicles in your driveway. These vehicles cannot be parked in the roadway/street. Public Works in unable to plow the residential streets when vehicles are parked on the side of the roadway/street. Thank you.

In anticipation of the upcoming snow storm residents are reminded to NOT park their vehicles on the road, when driveway parking is an option. Also, parking your vehicle at the end of your driveway with the nose along the edge of the road is not recommended. We are anticipating a plowable snow and appreciate your help in keeping our roads passable for clearing.
