Caroline Senior Center and Federalsburg Senior Center Celebrate Juneteenth
On June 18th, the Caroline Senior Center joined the Federalsburg Senior Center for a wonderful Juneteenth celebration. The day was filled with delicious BBQ, great fellowship, lots of laughter, and memorable moments shared among friends. It was such a successful event that everyone agreed it is something we must do again very soon!
A special thank you to the Federalsburg Senior Center for hosting this amazing gathering and making everyone feel so welcome.
We were also pleased to welcome Kena Kuwera from the University of Maryland Extension, who presented an informative program on fall prevention. The seniors were very interested in the valuable information she shared and learned many important tips to help them stay safe and independent.
It was a great day of learning, fellowship, and celebration!

Today is Root Beer day but what's Root Beer without some ice cream. So we had Root Beer Floats after the pizza, salad and cookies from Burke and Herbert Bank. They left with a full tummies..

🚗💙 Meals on Wheels Needs YOU! 💙🚗

Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? The Caroline Senior Center is seeking Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers to help deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors throughout Caroline County.

✅ Mileage reimbursement available
✅ Flexible schedule – volunteer once a week, once a month, or more
✅ Make a direct impact in the lives of local seniors
✅ Help us expand service and work toward adding Wednesday deliveries

Just a small amount of your time can make a huge difference in ensuring no senior goes hungry.

📅 Drivers are currently needed on Mondays and Fridays
