We wish to close out this amazing Child Support Awareness Month by recognizing our incredible Assistant Director of Child Support - Glenn Anders! Glenn has been in his current role for 4 years!

We asked Glenn what was one thing he enjoys most about serving Caroline County residents and he was happy to share:
What I enjoy most is the direct impact I can have on the community that raised me. Having grown up in Caroline County, it is a true privilege to serve my neighbors. I love seeing the compassion of this growing community firsthand, and there is nothing more rewarding than fulfilling our core mission: protecting our most vulnerable residents and actively improving the place we all call home.

Without Glenn and his incredible care and support we would not be nearly as successful as we are in delivering the day to day services within Child Support here at Caroline County DSS.

Please join us as we close out this year's Child Support Appreciation Month in thanking all of those who serve in our department, without their diligence and dedication we would not be able to make such an impact on our community and ensure that children and families feel this level of support. If you see one of our awesome co-workers out in the community or know of any friends or loved ones who also serve the Child Support Administration in other counties or states, please wish them a very happy Child Support Awareness Month and thank them for all they do!

🌞We had such an amazing time seeing you all at Caroline Summerfest this past weekend! We also want to celebrate that we managed to give out 276 backpacks during this incredible event. We truly can't express how much joy this gives us in knowing that as a community we are ensuring children start their school years off with the tools they need to be successful, and that families can be properly supported! Thanks again for stopping by to see us, we hope to see you all soon at other upcoming community events, be sure to give us a follow to stay informed on where we'll be next! ❤

🐬🚌Back to School Season is here! We participated in Denton Elementary's Back to School Night this past Monday and had a successful turn out! We managed to give away 40 backpacks, 18 tote bags, and 32 drawstring goodie bags. We would like to wish the Denton Dolphins a safe and successful 2026-2027 school year! ❤ 🎒✏

We're so excited to continue our Child Support Awareness Month by welcoming one of our newest members of the team - Pam Henning! Pam officially joined us this month in her role as our new Child Support Specialist Supervisor! Pam comes to us from another DSS with a wealth of knowledge and incredible care for work in Child Support.

We asked Pam what motivates her to do this work each day and she kindly shared the following:
I am motivated by the fact that every child deserves financial and emotional support from both parents. Working here lets me help secure the resources kids need to thrive, grow up healthy, and reach their full potential.

We are so happy to have Pam join our amazing team here at Caroline County DSS and provide awesome leadership and support to our agency and community. Please join us in welcoming Pam and thanking her for her continued dedication to this work!

Child Support Awareness Month is slowly winding down now - but don't worry! We'll be back this weekend for one final recognition to close out our appreciation with! We also want to thank everyone again for all the love and support here as we have made these appreciation post for our staff! Our appreciation and recognitions for Child Support Awareness Month continues with Lea Ann Lezotte! Lea is one of our Child Support Specialist and has been in her current role for nearly 3 years!

We asked Lea what motivates her to do this work each day and she was kind enough to share the following:
I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families in Caroline County, and I believe that child support provides a necessary service in ensuring that children receive the financial support needed. Working alongside a talented and dedicated team allows me to contribute my skills and experience, but also helps me grow and develop as a professional.

We proudly recognize that without people like Lea on our team we could not possibly serve our community here within Caroline County. We thank Lea for her continued service and care in helping families ensure their children have what they need to succeed!
