We’ll folks, the response was overwhelming, and all the chairs have left the orchard. You’re welcome to come visit for a few days, but there are no chairs left to claim. We’ve been getting tons of messages asking if there is anything left, and all chairs have been spoken for. Thanks!

Update: It looks like Denton Parks and Recreation is interested in taking some big items from the Chairy Orchard and placing them in other Denton parks.
Details haven’t been finalized, but it is likely some chairs, the big Papa Bear chair, the Locks of Love Chairish Wall, the picture frame and the big metal arch will all be loved, climbed on and photographed again not too far from their original home.
We’ll update here when we know more info!

CHAIRY ORCHARD CLOSING:
Well folks, all good things must come to an end, and we are sad to announce that we will be closing the Chairy Orchard on Sunday, June 18th.
Our instances of vandalism have continued to increase with stolen items, smashed chairs and broken windows in our free libraries, probably caused by late-night visitors after the park is closed.
The Chairy Orchard was started by two neighbors who are now in their 80s, and they always said they would close it when it was no longer fun to maintain.
Beginning now, please come get a favorite chair to remember your special times at this place.
Please only take a chair and not any other exhibits- we are looking for unique places around Denton for some of our more iconic pieces.
We’ll keep the Chairy Orchard page active for the time being for people to post photos and memories of their time at the CO. Also, we do have our Venmo account open if you choose to donate. We will need to pay a service for debris removal after the 18th.
Thanks for your support for the last 8 years. We’ve loved sharing this special place with people from all over the world.

THE CHAIRY ORCHARD IS OPEN EVERYDAY, FROM SUN UP TO SUN DOWN. And admission is FREE.
Holidays, cloudy days, Federal holidays, bank holidays. The Chairy Orchard never closes on any day… But, because the park is not lighted, we ask that you only enjoy during daylight and dusk hours. Pets welcome on leashes.

School’s out! The Chairy Orchard is free, fun, pet friendly (on leashes), has two free kids libraries, a Scavenger Hunt, puns and funny exhibits throughout! Tables for picnics, chairs for resting under an oak tree- you don’t have to spend alot of money to have a fun time with your bored kiddos!

Remember, if you missed our Boho Market sale, come see us at The Antique Gallery in Denton yearround.
It is in Presidio strip center, I35 and Loop 288 (formerly Stonehill Center.) We are booths’ 4444, The Crow’s Nest and 157, Remylovesrose.
So many people at the sale didn’t know about this mall- it really has some cool stuff. Come see us and support small business.
