Kinder, Kinder, Kinder… what can I say?

This little group of students was a joy to have visit us at the library this morning. Every one of them was excited, enthusiastic, and had so many questions!

We started our tour with a discussion about SRP ’26, “Unearth a Story,” and that really got them excited about signing up for the book club. We even had a few students who had never been to our little jungle of a library before.

Aww… to be young again and so full of life. I can’t wait to see so many of you this summer.

Kindergarten rocks! Love ya! Keep on being you.

Hoorah! We just wrapped up the last story time for Future Success Head Start!

We read the following books: "I Wish You More" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, "Mrs. McBloom, Clean Up Your Classroom!" by Kelly DiPucchio, and lastly "Last Day Blues" by Julie Danneberg. Whew!

We also incorporated many of the songs we learned throughout the school year. Everyone sang favorites like “Crabs & Starfish,” “I Had a Little Turtle (Tiny Tim),” and of course the ever-popular “Pizza! Pizza! Party!”

Thank you all for a wonderful year full of memories and for helping the library unearth so many stories. We cannot wait to see everyone again next school year.

We welcomed our Head Start friends for a special library tour! We shared all the exciting things happening this summer with our Summer Reading Program, themed “Unearth a Story.” The children loved exploring the library and were especially excited to see all of our fun decorations and critters.

Mrs. Cristal read Dinos Love Donuts by Ben Okon, which brought lots of smiles and laughter. While enjoying lunch with their parents, the children also watched an episode of The Good Dinosaur: “Lost Egg.”

We had a wonderful time visiting, reading, and learning together, and we can’t wait to see everyone back at the library this summer!

It’s that time of year again!
Don’t forget — Summer Reading sign-ups begin on Monday, May 18th! Parents can stop by anytime to sign up the kiddos… or themselves!
Everyone is welcome to participate, from babies all the way through adults.
Please remember:
No early sign-ups
Be patient with us as we get back into the swing of things
We can’t wait for another fun summer of reading!
