Training is the most critical part of any fire department and we are grateful to those who help us achieve this goal. We do this to better ourselves for our community. Today, members of the Denver City Volunteer Fire Department deployed to assist with efforts to combat a major wildfire impacting communities and natural areas south of Canyon, Texas.

Our firefighters are joining crews from across the region to help protect lives, property, and critical infrastructure.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication, courage, and professionalism our personnel continue to demonstrate in times of need.

Please keep all responding firefighters, emergency personnel, and the affected communities in your thoughts as they work under extremely challenging conditions.

We remain committed to serving both our community and those in need wherever assistance is required. Updates will be shared as they become available.
