This Saturday, 32nd Avenue Books Toys & Gifts is celebrating Independent Bookstore Day with specials and deals, and a FREE art event for kiddos age 4+!

On Saturday April 29th, parents, bring your children to spend time developing curiosity and creating art using a variety of materials in a fun interactive learning way!!

This workshop will focus on color, shape and mark making. All participants make and take their artwork to display at home

Let's learn a little more about your favorite neighborhood wine shop, Mondo Vino ()!

Mondo Vino has been at the corner of 32nd & Lowell in the heart of Highlands Square since 1999. A neighborhood staple, they specialize in unique wine, beer, and spirits from all across the globe. The staff is full of wine lovers who know their stuff and can always pull the right bottle for you, there's even a cellar tucked away in the back of the store where they stash the finest bottles available today.

Tastings on Fridays & Saturdays 4-6pm
Mondo Vino offers wine tastings on Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm to 6pm. These complimentary pours of interesting wines from around the world are paired with cheese from another local fave St. Kilian's Cheese Shop (.kilians). Bringing a friend, date, or neighbor is always encouraged.

At the top of their online shop you can see the latest recommendations and favorites from the very people selecting the quality drinks that make it into the shop. Typically a good mixture of craft beers, wines, and liquors, if you're not sure what you're in the mood for, give a staff pick a try.
