The Borough of Denver has received grant funding from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to hire a consultant to work with stakeholders from the Borough to complete the Denver Borough Strategic Revitalization Plan. This Plan will be used to guide upgrades to the Main Street streetscapes, landscapes, signage, lighting, crosswalks, trails, civic spaces, and architectural facades while creating redevelopment strategies to prepare for changes to industrial and institutional sites within the Borough.

The planning process has begun, and the Steering Committee is asking Borough residents, business owners, employers, and visitors to provide input to improve Denver Borough by completing the online survey. The survey takes about eight (8) minutes to complete and can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the form below or going to our website, www.denverboro.net, and clicking on the link in this post under Live Feed. There are also paper copies in the Borough Office, at 501 Main St.

Please take a couple minutes to complete the survey and help guide the future of the Business District in Denver Borough.

The Denver Memorial Park & Playground Association has two major historical restoration projects to accomplish in the park: the War Memorial and the fishpond.

These two very important features in the park bring remembrance and joy to the people of our community. The cost of these repairs is $60,000. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, their budget is not able to accomplish the repairs without assistance.

Please consider donating to their cause, which is tax-deductible. You can scan the QR code, drop off the donation at the Denver Borough building, or mail a check made out to Denver Memorial Park and send it to 539 Elm St., Denver, PA 17517.
