This International Overdose Awareness Day, we pause to remember and honor the lives of those lost to overdose. We recognize the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry their memory, and we stand with them.

Today is also an opportunity to learn how to use naloxone, a medication that rapidly reverses an overdose. Learning how to recognize an overdose and carrying naloxone can make a life saving difference. Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with how to use it. You never know when your knowledge could help someone in need.

Together, we can honor those we've lost by raising awareness, supporting one another, and helping prevent future overdoses.

We're excited to announce that 10 new Recovery Cards are NOW available! Through our partnership with the Colorado Department of Corrections and the Larimer County Jail Art Project, we’re honored to feature designs that were thoughtfully created by incarcerated artists to share messages of hope, recovery, and encouragement.

As we recognize Recovery Month in September, we invite you to send a card and remind someone they're surrounded by support.
