The Recording Department will once again offer passport services (not including passport renewals) to residents. These services are available by appointment only, Wednesday-Friday, 7:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m., at the Adams County Government Center.

The department accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State for any U.S. citizen, but they are a passport acceptance facility only. They do not print passports and cannot accept renewals. Passport photography services are also available for a $10 fee. Adams County is accepting applications for businesses – such as restaurants, boutique retail shops, etc. – in unincorporated areas to temporarily expand commerce outside of their normal footprint to promote social distancing and public health measures related to COVID-19.
