The Golden Triangle Partnership is a nonprofit organization that serves at the interests and needs of its stakeholders – residents, businesses, civic, cultural and community organizations in the Golden Triangle Creative District. The Golden Triangle Association (GTA), a Registered Neighborhood Organization, sponsored numerous community programs and projects and served as an advocate for the area.
In December 2016, GTA merged with the GTP in order to consolidate leadership, management and operations. The Golden Triangle Creative District is bounded by Lincoln Street, Speer Boulevard and Colfax Avenue and is home to Denver, Colorado’s most iconic civic and cultural institutions, including the state Capitol building, the City & County of Denver building, Denver Art Museum, Denver Mint Museum, Clyfford Still Museum, Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, History Colorado Center, McNichols Civic Center Building, Civic Center Park, the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab, and the central branch of the Denver Public Library. Located in the southern area of downtown Denver, the District is also comprised of architects, art galleries, salons/spas, restaurants, designers, and entertainment and technology businesses, as well as 3,000 residents. The Partnership received the Golden Triangle Creative District designation, certification and enterprise grant from the Colorado Creative Industries, a department of the Office of Economic Development & International Trade. The Golden Triangle Partnership is fiscally sponsored by the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center. As a nonprofit organization, the Partnership is sustained by membership fees, donations, fundraising events and grants.
