Proceeds from the evening will fund new assistive listening systems throughout Kavod Senior Life. These systems will improve sound quality and clarity in our public spaces, helping residents with hearing loss more fully participate in programs, celebrations, and community gatherings—and stay connected to the community they call home.

🎉 Our Assisted Living residents had an awesome time yesterday as we celebrated National Senior Citizen’s Day by taking “Senior” pics!

We also filled out a questionnaire that offered upcoming generations advice! Some of the best answers to our questions were:

Don’t be afraid to….

“Have some failures along the way!”
“Speak up.”

Be open to….

“Advice and thoughts from older generations.”
“New ideas!”

We love our community and are grateful for each and every one of you! Thank you!

Happy National Senior Citizen’s Day! 🥰

For all residents, we’re celebrating “National Senior Citizen’s Day” by hosting a “Laugh & Learn” workshop today at 1pm!

Laughter is the best medicine, so don’t miss Comedian Daniel Roberts, a retired Rabbi, from Cleveland who was named Cleveland’s funniest Rabbi several years in a row. He provides a unique type of comedy show called “Borscht Belt Humor.” A really fun way to celebrate National Senior Citizen’s Day!

Refreshments and snacks will be served.

📖 Book club is such a treat every week! They’re currently in the middle of Theo of Golden, and it’s been such an interesting read! There have been so many different topics of discussion, but what I’ve loved most is how the content and characters have sparked conversations in so many different directions.
