Join the Pauline Robinson Branch Library as we celebrate the Summer of Adventure...."Pirate style!" Here's the storyline! Red, the Pirate Queen, is the villain in this play in which pirates maneuver to take over the ship and find the buried treasure in this humorous take on a classic tale. What? This is part of the DPL Summer of Adventure program to spark an interest in summer reading! When? Thursday June, 18th at 4pm. Where? The Pauline Robinson Branch Library. Why? Because we love reading and promoting literacy!📚🖤🏴‍☠️

The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and the children’s book world, is saddened by the news that author, mentor and friend, Jane Yolen, has died. She was 87 and her loss cannot be measured.
