Synapse Trivia

Hello friends,

We all know it's been a few weeks since we've had our last Synapse Trivia at Bender's Bar and Grill in Westminster. During that time off both the management at Bender's as well as ownership and staff of Synapse Trivia took a look at the current state of Thursday nights.

At this time we have agreed that with Thursday Night Football being a weekly occurrence throughout the whole season, it would be a challenge to also host a live trivia show.

For the time being we will be suspending Synapse Trivia at Bender's Bar and Grill effective immediately. We will be reevaluating Bender's need for Thursday night entertainment after the NFL season ends.

Many of our regulars have become true friends during the last three and a half years. I do hope and plan to return to Bender's next year. I also hope to have some sort of going away event within the next few weeks.

For those of you that have made Bender's your Thursday night home, please don't end that. For those of you who have made Synapse your trivia of choice, thank you. Honest and true from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

This is not the end for Synapse Trivia, but a new beginning. Please continue to follow us on Facebook as we develop new shows, new locations and new programs.

When I see you next time I hope you bring your friends, or bring your enemies. If you don't have either, you gotta get out more often. And what better place to do that then at Bender's/=.

Hey Friends!

I am looking add a couple new spots for Synapse Trivia or Karaoke. If you have connections with a bar or restaurant that might be looking for some entertainment let me know. If they sign up I'll give you a $50 finders fee.

Tonight we keep the part going with ANOTHER night of Synapse Trivia. Benders Bar....oh you know the drill.

Hints? Ok. How about this, look up some famous sitcom roommates, and famous TV show finales. Not enough? Take a good look at your keyboard while you're reading this then. Oh, and take a look at "Madagascar" knock offs.

I want to thank everyone who came out tonight. I especially want to thank those that participated in our "Tunes for Tragedy" fundraiser!! Some of the request were certainly silly, and even a couple that were annoying, but I hope everyone had some fun, and appreciated it for what it was.

Together we raised $54!!! That's purely in song requests, that's not even counting what Synapse Trivia and Flowing River Productions will be putting in.

I know that it may not seem like a lot of money, but in situations like this every PENNY helps those in need. If you could not contribute tonight, or if you want to contribute more, visit givingfirst.org or aurorarises.com.

Please, give what you can. A dollar, some blood, even just a thought and a prayer will go further then you can imagine.

I hope to continue this throughout the next month, if you have any suggestions on other ways we might be able to raise some money, please let me know.

Hello Trivia friends:

This has been a LONG week hasn't it? Just this time last week I was preparing for a trivia show with out a care in the world. Three hours after that show ended, the world changed.

I've been thinking long and hard how Synapse Trivia might, if at all, help the victims in Aurora. I personally have a strong attachment to the city, and sadly know people that have been affected.

Therefore, for at least the next month I am contributing portions of Synapse's profits to the. I would like to ask your help as well.

We all love requesting songs. Well I want you to get those song requests ready, because for the next month I am going suggest a donation with that request. As little as a dollar, as much as you want. Every little bit helps.

Here's the exciting part for you. If you are opening up your hearts to help those in need, I will not refuse any song (with the exception of offensive or "mature" songs).

You get to hear ANY song you want, and the victims in Aurora get a little more help.

Attention Trivia fans:

We are sad to announce that your host, Tony, will not be able to host Synapse trivia tonight due to a thrown out back, and a possible trip to the ER. We are sorry for the disappointment this is bound to create, but we will be back next week, ready to rock n roll!

Well folks, the states on fire, and the country is up in emotional flames about supreme court rulings. What better way to get away from it all for awhile then to come to Bender's Bar and Grill and play some Synapse Trivia.

7pm 104th and Highway 36!

Need some help? Research candy named after president's daughters. Maybe listen to some Soggy Bottom Boys, and brush up on your famous Spiderman supporting cast deaths. See you then!
