🎉 Final Call: Let's Ballot Party Like Democracy Depends on It!
Hello, All!
It's our final call for Tuesday's Ballot Party! 🎉
Let's face it: this year's ballot is a beast, and with Election Day just two weeks away, it's time to get down to business—and have a little fun while we're at it!
Join David and Lindsay as they host State House District 5 candidate Justine Sandoval, who will help us make sense of some of the biggest questions on this year's ballot.
But this isn't a lecture or a formal candidate forum. Think of it as a get-together where we're all in the same boat, figuring out this monster of a ballot together!
Have a hot take you'd like to share? A question you've been struggling to answer? Great! Would you rather sit back, listen, and absorb what others have to say? That's great, too! There's no test, no pressure, and definitely no wrong way to participate. The goal is to exchange knowledge, hear different perspectives, and help each other make informed decisions.
Here's the thing: we don't have to figure it all out alone. Colorado's vote-by-mail system means most of us have our ballots sitting right there, waiting for our attention. Let's use this opportunity to work through those tough questions together and get those ballots filled out and on their way!
I'll be there, and I hope we have a great turnout. After opening my own ballot and seeing just how much there is to get through, I can tell you I could definitely use a drink. 😂
Since this is a special event rather than our usual meeting, we're keeping things informal. We'll push some tables together, order food and drinks, crack open those Blue Books, and get talking. No podium, no formal program—just good people, good conversation, and a little democracy in action.

WHAT TO BRING: Your Blue Book or ballot, a pen, your questions, and your opinions!
PARKING BONUS! We have permission to use the free parking lot behind the building, on the north side of the fence, starting at 5:00 PM. Look for spots marked BARNA or Irish Snug. There are 60 spaces available to us—which is pretty fantastic for a venue this close to downtown!
So grab your Blue Book, bring your curiosity, and come spend an evening with us. Whether you're ready to debate every ballot measure or just want to listen and learn, there's a seat at the table for you.
