Criteria for nominations includes but is not limited to:
☑️ Demonstrated leadership through dedication to and achievement in dance and movement in the state of Colorado
☑️ Developing and/or organizing an existing or emerging dance/movement organization, with a preference for work that demonstrates innovation, experimentation, and access
☑️ Exceptional service and commitment to dance/movement
☑️ Potential for future transformative impact on dance in the state of Colorado
☑️ Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, access, and inclusion
☑️ Nominations welcome for individuals and organizations at all stages of life; this award does not have an age range or limit

Submit your nominations for Legends of Dance before Monday! Nominations are due March 1st.

Since 2004, the annual Legends of Dance in Colorado honors individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to dance in our state. As part of being a Legend of Dance, an oral history is recorded with each honoree. A celebration takes place in October to honor that year's honorees.
