Our community showed up in a big way! 👏🎒 The 2026 School Supply Drive surpassed our goal and made a huge impact for Denver students. Thanks to your generosity, we distributed 1,122 backpacks, provided 2,397 supplies, and raised $3,075 in donations.

A huge shout‑out to the DEN Procurement Team, who assembled 800 backpacks — amazing!👏

These backpacks and supplies help students start the school year prepared, confident, and supported. Thank you for making a difference!

families: If you have low or no income, you may be eligible for thousands of dollars in state tax credits—even if you don’t usually file taxes.

Use SimpleFile, a free, quick, and mobile‑friendly tool from the State of Colorado and Code for America. It helps you file a simple state tax return in about 15 minutes, is available in English and Spanish, and does not require income documents. Eligible families can get up to $4,473 per child through the Colorado Child Tax Credit and Family Affordability Tax Credit.

Denver Human Services has adjusted services on the third Wednesday of every month between 2-4 p.m. Food, cash and medical services, and EBT services, will not be available at our locations (including our Neighborhood Resource Site) or from our Call Center during this time. The following locations are impacted:
