Odyssey School of Denver The Odyssey School is a kindergarten thru 8th grade Denver Public Charter School. We are an Expeditionary Learning Community.

The school draws its direction and strength from Expeditionary Learning Design Principles. These educational principles provide a powerful framework for personal growth through physical challenge and service. The curriculum is designed around rigorous, purposeful, project-based learning expeditions tied to Colorado State Standards. The Odyssey School's learning experience includes: a focus on read

ing and writing through literature, a rigorous math program (Investigations and Connected Math), computers to develop students' research and thinking skills, fine arts, documentation of students' work through portfolios, regular out of school fieldwork, and adventure with environmental education.

We are looking for Passage panelists for our 5th & 8th grade panels. This is a unique opportunity to hear from students about the importance of Odyssey’s Habits of a Learner! Students in grades 5 and 8 prepare a presentation highlighting how the Habits of a Learner impact their academic achievement and social emotional growth. Passages are scheduled for Fri, May 22nd from 8 - 3pm and includes a light breakfast and lunch. No experience necessary! If you are interested, please email [email protected].
