Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce Our mission is to support the initiatives of Black business owners and create an enterprise that focuses on success and viability.

The vision of the CBCC has been to serve the needs of Black-owned businesses, providing economic opportunity and support to them as well the communities they serve. We want to leave our footprint in the sand of Colorado’s business landscape. We strive to forge a path that leads to a steady flow of resources beneficial to our business members through relationships, partnerships and mentorships. We

endeavor to create awareness and visibility of our efforts at local, state and federal levels through lobbying and advocacy. We want to provide education and training that keeps Black business owners in step with the ever-changing requirements of Colorado’s economic playing field. Our purpose is to assist our business members in opening doors and building relationships with Colorado’s major corporate entities. We work hard to create a direct link to these companies, making sure we have the information needed for our members to do business with these corporate entities in a win-win partnership.

Strange Root is a historical circus solo show by Denver-based Black circus artist Julia Baccellieri. Through acrobatics, movement, and storytelling, the show explores Black American circus history, spectacle, identity, and the politics of being on stage. Presented as part of Denver Fringe Festival, on June 5 at 9 PM and June 6 at 6:30 PM at Cleo Parker Robinson Center for the Healing Arts.

In connection with the Economic Development Association for Black Communities (EDABC). We are reaching out to share an exciting upcoming opportunity.

We are hosting our flagship Opportunity Pipeline Tour, an initiative designed to connect realtors, developers, investors, and other stakeholders directly with communities and the development opportunities within them. Our first stop will focus on Lakewood, Colorado, where significant growth and development activity is already underway.

Before the tour, we are hosting a virtual informational session on May 7th, 2026, so prospective participants can clearly understand what to expect and how they can turn this meaningful experience into tangible opportunities.
