From share chairs and author’s chairs to calming corners and calming benches, these spaces give students places to express themselves, connect with others, reset when needed, and feel supported throughout the school day.

A big thank you to our FASD parent volunteers! 💙

Shoutout to this new kindergarten parent who spent 5 hours on Friday assembling new staff chairs for our teachers!

And thank you to all our volunteers who have brought their skills, time, and talents to help us build our new campus. We’re so grateful for everything our community has done to help make our new home feel ready for the school year. 🇫🇷🇺🇸

A look back at some first day of school moments at FASD! 🇫🇷💙

It was so great to see students back together, while others were meeting new classmates and becoming part of the FASD community for the first time.

From day one, our students are learning and connecting through both French and English. Early exposure to a second language builds on children’s natural curiosity and innate language-learning abilities.

What a great start to the school year at FASD! 🎉

Monday was a successful first day for our 1st–5th graders, and on Wednesday, we’re excited to welcome our Kindergarteners for their first day!

Thank you to all of our families for your patience and support as we settle into new drop-off and pick-up routines and get comfortable in our new home. 💙

Meet & Greet is tomorrow! 🇫🇷💙 Join us Wednesday, August 12 from 3:30–5:30 PM for our FASD Meet & Greet!

Come explore the new building, meet teachers and staff, reconnect with friends, and enjoy Popsicles on the Playground thanks to our wonderful PTO volunteers!

1st–5th grade families: Teacher assignments will be available by 12 PM Wednesday through ClassDojo and the DPS Parent Portal.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to FASD! 💙

A few moments from Registration Day at FASD! 🇫🇷💙

It was so wonderful to see our new campus filled with families as we get ready for the start of another school year. After all the hard work that has gone into this move, seeing our community come together in this new space made the day even more special.

If you weren’t able to join us for Registration Day, come see us next Wednesday, August 12th for our Meet & Greet. It’s another great opportunity to visit the new campus, connect with our FASD community, and get ready for the year ahead.

A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, PTO, families, and everyone who has given their time and energy to help make this new chapter possible. We couldn’t have done it without our incredible FASD community. 💙

Our team is here until 5:30 PM today to help you complete registration, answer questions, explore our new campus, purchase uniforms, and get ready for an exciting school year.

Can’t make it in person? Virtual registration is also available, so you can complete everything from home at your convenience.

We can’t wait to welcome both new and returning FASD families!

See you tomorrow! 🎉 Join us for Registration Day on Tuesday, August 4th, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Our team will be here to help with registration, answer questions, assist with MySchoolBucks, and welcome families back for the new school year.

It’s also a great chance to get a first look inside our new building! Some classroom doors will be open so you can explore the new spaces as we put the finishing touches on everything before students arrive.

A great school is built by great educators, and every educator deserves a comfortable space to recharge.

At FASD, we’re creating a welcoming space where our teachers can take a break, recharge, and connect with colleagues throughout the day. The little details matter, and creating spaces that support our educators is just as important as creating inspiring spaces for our students.

This is just one small glimpse of everything coming together as we prepare for an exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to share more with you. 💙
