The end of the school year can feel incredibly chaotic. Teachers are balancing final grading, parents are juggling schedule changes, and students are carrying a mix of excitement, transition anxiety, and fatigue.

But this demanding final stretch also offers a beautiful opportunity to slow down and practice mindful gratitude.
Our latest blog post dives into how both families and educators can use The Imagine Project to foster emotional reflection and healing during these final weeks. By using simple "Imagine..." prompts, we can give children a compassionate framework to express their challenges, celebrate their growth, and reframe difficult experiences.

💡 Bonus: It’s not just for kids! We discuss how teachers and parents can practice alongside them to combat end-of-year burnout.

Our Virtual Imagine Circle series is here to bring people together from across the country for a shared experience of expressive writing and creative connection.

🎁 Consider next week’s session our gift to the educators. We know the end of the year is a whirlwind, so we’ve scheduled next Wednesday, May 13, at 3:30 PM MST to help teachers transition straight from the classroom into a space of quiet reflection and nourishment.

That said, our circle is open to all. If your soul needs a moment of calm in the May storm, please join us. Whether you’re an educator, a parent, or simply a friend looking for connection, your voice belongs in this circle.

Bridging the Gap: Supporting our 5th Graders as they Leap into Middle School

The transition from elementary to middle school is one of the biggest pivots in a child’s life. 20% of students experience a significant spike in anxiety during this transition. It’s a time of excitement, but it’s also a time where anxiety can skyrocket.

Read about how parents, teachers, and administrators can use The Imagine Project to create a safety net for our students ahead of the transition (right now!) and when the school year starts, to give kids a tool to safely express themselves, increase empathy and lower anxiety.

Let’s help our 5th graders stop worrying about the "what if’s" and start imagining the "could be’s." 🌟
