Since 1938, Colorado firefighters and their families have depended on DFDFCU to provide value driven products and services…to be a part of their Firefighter Financial Family. DFDFCU was established in August 1938 by 10 firefighters with a vision to create a “private” financial cooperative driven towards providing financial services to firefighters and their family members. Tha
t original vision and commitment has driven DFDFCU to grow from $222,000 in assets in 1948 to over $170 million in assets today. DFDFCU successfully focused on what was required to deliver the right products and the right services to firefighters, so much so, that our reputation grew outside of Denver. In June 2012, DFDFCU expanded to serve firefighters outside of Denver and throughout the State of Colorado. Don’t be fooled by our name, we’re Denver and much more, serving over 55 firefighter Locals across the State. DFDFCU remains dedicated to exclusively serving you and your immediate family members – no one else, just firefighters!
