Meet Hilda!
Born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany, Hilda grew up with her two older sisters during challenging wartime years. Her early experiences taught her strength, resilience, and determination.
At 14, Hilda began working in a factory before later spending 17 years in a school cafeteria. She met her husband, David, on a blind date, and the two were married on April 18, 1953. Together, they shared 70 years of marriage, raised three children, and enjoyed traveling and hiking around the world.
Today, Hilda loves staying active at Harvard Square through exercise classes, Wii Bowling, walks, and spending time by the fireplace.
Her advice for life is simple: "Be busy, be active.”
