Alright… here’s the deal.

As yall know we’re between seasons so I wanted to try a couple things to break the monotony a bit! Sooo…

This week let’s try running the anytime add-on tourny!
Same time, same place, same buy-in… just no league points on the line.

So yeah… play a little looser, take a shot, or come in and actually try to win one for once 😏
Details

$60 =12K starting stack

Anytime add on (AAO) $20=12K

If purchasing the AAO
Must use it before level 7

One rebuy through Level 6
Full package or partial!

James Dodge Bonus is live on everything
($10 = 5K to each stack)

You can fire it right away…
or sit on it like you’ve got discipline until poker reminds you that you don’t.

No pressure, no standings… just a good tournament and a chance to scoop.

After getting absolutely baptized—set of Queens into set of Kings—by OG Greeley poker legend Larry James, I did what any rational adult would do…

Rebought immediately and paid the man $20 for his nuts as he was dragging the pot.

Seemed like a fair deal at the time.

Fast forward a week—I’m out of town playing a tournament, using them as a card protector (which I never use to do)… and somehow end up chopping the whole thing winning a huge pot with KK. Not a set like Lar but hey!

So now I’m thinking I either bought good luck… or just rented it.

Naturally, I managed to lose them shortly after—because, well I loose s**t and I was sick about it.

But they’ve made their way back into my hands!

So now they’re officially in the lineup for every tournament moving forward… whether they like it or not.

Appreciate you, Lar Bear—still the only guy I know who can cooler you and then sell you the souvenir after.

The league’s may be between seasons
but we didn’t suddenly forget how to deal.

This is that window where:
No standings to protect…
No points to chase…
And no league pull.

maybe I just deal this week.Or maybe I jump in and make a “contribution” again.

First and Foremost,

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone behind the scenes.
There is zero chance we pull this off without you. This thing doesn’t run, doesn’t grow, and definitely doesn’t hit nights like this without that crew. Truly grateful.

Now… down to business:

90 entrants.
Yeah… ninety. Not a typo.

At this point we might need a bigger room… or a bigger ego. Still deciding.

And somehow… out of all that—

Mike Chacon (Stacie’s dad) takes it down. 🏆
Family dinners just got a little more competitive.
(But at least we know who’s paying)!

Extra special shoutout to my beautiful wife, truly
the spine and soul of this thing and the best partner of all time. I’m beyond thankful to have you by my side supporting me through all of this. None of this happens without you.

Congrats to everyone who made the money, and thank you all for keeping it respectful at the venue—that’s how we keep coming back and building this the right way.
