A room full of neighbors, community partners and supporters who believe every family deserves the opportunity to thrive. ❤️
That’s how we celebrated the grand opening of the Joan Leprino Community Corner at Mile High United Way last week.
Brought to life by a group of generous investors, including a $1 million gift from Mary Leprino and her family, this new space will provide the families we serve with fresh food, hygiene products, cooking supplies and connections to resources that can help them build a stronger future.
The center is named in honor of Joan Leprino, whose generosity and compassion will continue to make a lasting impact for generations to come.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this space possible. And a special thank you to our speakers, Damon Barry, Christine Benero, Mary Leprino and Nermina Mujkanović, for sharing what this space means to our community.
Volunteers are needed year-round to help support the Community Corner. Learn more about how you can get involved: https://bit.ly/4cXA8Qv
