At SafeHouse Denver, healing looks different for everyone. Sometimes, it looks like planting seeds, tending a garden, and harvesting fresh vegetables together.

Our Emergency Shelter garden is thriving because of the dedication of our amazing Domestic Violence Advocates and the support of our friends at Grow Local Colorado. Their partnership helped us plant the first seeds and begin this journey of growth together.

Fresh vegetables like zucchini and purple cauliflower nourish the survivors and children staying in our shelter, but this garden is more than a source of food. It stands for care, hope, and growth, and reminds us all that with support, new beginnings are always within reach.

Thank you, Grow Local Colorado, for helping us create a space that nourishes our community. We are also grateful to our dedicated Advocates, who care for this garden with the same compassion they offer survivors each and every day.
