Meet Blythe English, the Child Welfare and Adult Protection Services (APS) Manager at Moffat County, who is dedicated to revitalizing child welfare in her community! 🌟

Blythe leads by example: “I’m not going to ask my staff to do anything that I’m not willing to do. While I have some very fresh new workers, if they need me to go in the field with them, I staff with them. I do not ever want my staff to feel like I’m not available for their questions... I don’t want them to feel unsupported.” ❤️🤝

What does child neglect mean?

Child neglect is the failure of a parent, legal guardian or caregiver to provide for a kid’s basic needs.
It is important to highlight that family’s background or situation, like their income, race, culture, religion, structure or how a child is developing, can influence how a family works. These differences don’t mean that parents won’t provide a safe and stable home for their child or youth.
