The members of Denville PBA Local 142 extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow officers of Sergeant Jeremiah “Reggie” Crowley and the entire Randolph Township Police Department.

Reggie’s courage, strength, and dedication to his family, his profession, and the Randolph community were truly remarkable. His determination to continue serving while courageously battling cancer for nearly eight years speaks volumes about the man and police officer he was.

Our thoughts and prayers are especially with his wife, Shannon, his daughter, Ryan, and his brothers and sisters in blue during this incredibly difficult time.

Sergeant Crowley’s service, friendship, and legacy will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Sergeant. We have the watch from here. 💙🖤

It is with profound sadness that the Denville PBA announces the passing of our beloved Department Therapy K9, Mac.

After recently being diagnosed with cancer, the difficult decision was made to let Mac rest peacefully. At 2:35 p.m., Mac crossed the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by his Denville Police family, who loved him until his very last moment.

Mac was far more than a therapy dog—he was a source of comfort, compassion, and unconditional love. Whether he was supporting officers after difficult calls, bringing smiles to members of our community, or simply brightening someone’s day with his gentle presence, Mac made a lasting impact on countless lives.

The legacy he leaves behind will be furever remembered. His paw prints are etched into the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will continue to inspire the kindness and comfort he brought to others each and every day.

Run free, Mac. Thank you for your unwavering love, loyalty, and service. You will always be a cherished member of the Denville Police family and will remain in our hearts forever.

PLEASE Help a Denville Family Rebuild After Losing Everything

It’s hard to put into words how quickly life can change.

One moment, everything is normal—kids playing, routines moving along, another day in a loving home. And the next… everything is gone.

A family I’ve known for many years—one I’ve had the privilege of coaching their child on the baseball field—is now facing that exact reality.

Due to a devastating event, they lost their home. Inside it was everything they built their life around—clothes, memories, keepsakes collected over years… even their beloved pets. Things that can never truly be replaced.

And yet, through it all, there is one miracle we are holding onto:

They all made it out safely.

A mother and father, and their three children—ages 14, 10, and just 2 years old—are together. They still have each other. And right now, that’s everything.

But they are starting over from nothing.

No home. No belongings. Just the clothes they were able to leave with, and the weight of figuring out what comes next.

If you’ve ever been part of the Denville community, you know what makes it special. We show up for each other. We rally. We lift people when they need it most.

This family has always been part of that fabric—on the fields, in our community, in our lives. Now it’s our turn to be there for them.

We’re asking the Denville community, our baseball family, and anyone who can help to come together and support them as they begin the long road of rebuilding.

Temporary housing and day-to-day living needs
Basic necessities to begin putting life back together
