The Listening & Learning Children's Community Library is on a mission to raise funds for a new air conditioning system, which is desperately needed to keep our kiddos safe during the Texas summer heat. Mark your calendars for our Children's Library Yard sale.
The date is June 12th - 13th here in Deport, Texas. This sale will be a multi sale with shares from several families.

🌞 SUMMER IS COMING... Do you have a plan yet? 🌞

Hey library friends! We are working on something incredibly exciting here at The Listening & Learning Library, and we need your input!

We are looking into launching a brand new summer program for kiddos aged 4-10, and we want to see who's in.

Here's the scoop on what we're planning:

⏰When: Mondays - Thursdays | 9am - 5pm
📍Where: The Listening & Learning Library
165 Main St, Deport, Tx 75435
🎉What: A safe, super-fun zone where your
kids can play, learn, & make friends.
💰Cost: $100 per week per child

(Bonus: If all goes well, we hope to keep this rolling into the school year and beyond 🚀)

Today was the grand finale of our after school library program for 2025-26, and boy, did we have a blast. It was a year of non-stop learning and growth, and I'm not just talking about the kids. Three of my mini-me's aged out and will be flying the coop as they enter 8th grade. They've been super helpful with the younger crew, but let's be real, teenagers have better things to do... like taking selfies and eating pizza. Thanks to everyone who made this school year an unforgettable one. We'll be back in action when the new school year rolls around.
