Today we took our cadets on a whitewater rafting trip. The experience challenged them to work together, communicate clearly, and demonstrate leadership throughout the day. It was a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved. The highlight of the trip was definitely the water wars, which brought plenty of laughs and friendly competition. A great day of adventure, teamwork, and memories made! 🚒 🌊

Fire Camp – Day 3 Summary

Day 3 focused on teamwork and hands-on firefighting skills 🔥. The day began with team-building activities and additional home safety training 🏠. We also reviewed essential knots 🪢 and learned about the tools of the day.

Practical training included carrying and raising ladders 🪜, dressing a hydrant 💧, connecting and disconnecting Storz fittings 🔗. We also completed a review of the ladder truck 🚒, presented by Chief Thomas, which provided a better understanding of its equipment, capabilities, and operation.

Overall, the day emphasized teamwork, communication 🗣️, and building confidence with fundamental firefighting skills and equipment 💪.
