We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

It's Never Too Early to Start Stretching!

Save the date for the 18th Annual 5K Walk-Run to Benefit the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital set for Saturday, October 24.

The 5k Walk/Run was started by the caregivers of the Cancer Center as a way to raise funds to purchase wigs for patients. The first Walk/Run exceeded expectations drawing over 250 participants and raising more than $25,000, providing opportunity for additional financial support for patients as they undergo cancer treatment. The 5K has drawn thousands of participants over the years and raised more than $900,000 to help support local cancer survivors in its 17-year history.

Participants can walk or run individually, form a team with their family, friends and co-workers, and collect pledges and payments. Awards will be presented to the top fundraising team and the top fundraising individual at the event.

Participants can also purchase a commemorative sign for $100 to honor or memorialize a loved one that will be displayed at The Center for Cancer Care.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at In-Home Angels. 🇺🇸☁️

Today we're thinking about the families we serve across the state— and the quiet kind of independence that doesn't always make the highlight reel: the woman who walked to her own mailbox this week, the dad who recovered enough from surgery to grill for his grandkids, the husband who got a few hours of rest because his wife had a caregiver she trusted.

That's the independence we celebrate every day.

Making Connections Monday 🤝✨

Here’s a look back at some of the ways our In-Home Angels team connected with our community throughout the month of June!

This month was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and opportunities to support incredible organizations doing important work.

💗 We attended the Par for Pink Bingo Fundraiser supporting The Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital and The Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital. It was a wonderful evening supporting an amazing cause — and Megan Julian even won her first-ever round of bingo! 🎉 JoBeth Foley

💜 We also had the opportunity to volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association® with Emily Rorke at Masonicare in Wallingford Family Fun Festival, helping support their outreach and connect with families in our community.

🤝 Our team also attended the Foundation Happy Hour at Quarry Walk Oxford, an evening filled with great conversations, networking, and reconnecting with familiar faces while meeting new ones — including members of Peralta Design team, our friend Thomas Burden, from M&T Bank, and Stacey Mann from Ralph Mann & Sons.

Each event was a reminder of the importance of building relationships, supporting our community, and continuing to make connections beyond our own doors.

We are grateful for every opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow alongside the incredible people and organizations that make our community so special. 💙
