Today, your child is bringing home a Book Buddy Lanyard letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.

The SchoolStore Program is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.

We had a wonderful turnout for our Block Party on Friday! It was so great seeing our Swaney families and community come together for a fun evening. 💙

🌞 Telling Time with Sun & Shadows! ⏰

Yesterday, Mrs. Strobel's 5th graders took learning outside as they explored how their shadows change throughout the day. They outlined and observed their shadows at different times, making connections between the sun's position and the movement of shadows.

5th grade kicked off D.A.R.E. this afternoon with Officer Taylor! 👮‍♂️
Over the next few weeks, students will learn about making good choices, staying safe, handling peer pressure, and building skills to help them navigate everyday challenges.

Last week, Mrs. Molina’s 3rd graders got hands-on with science! 🌱🔎 Students observed plants to identify their similarities and differences while learning more about what makes each plant unique. 🌿💚
