The Splash Pad is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Madison Avenue Central Park is located in the heart of Derby at 512 E. Madison. This premier park opened in October 2016. The park includes a one-of- a-kind, all inclusive playground, splash pad, amphitheater, picnic pavilions, nearly one mile of walking paths, outdoor patio with fireplace, and two indoor meeting facilities - The Pavilion and The Venue. Join us tonight for the 20th annual Christmas Tree Lighting!

The City Tree Lighting is still on for tonight at 6 p.m. despite the rainy forecast this evening. Bring your raincoats and umbrellas! if you choose to stay home, you can watch a live stream of the event right here on our page. Tune it at 6 with the program beginning soon after.
🟢The stage will be set up under the awning of The Venue as Mayor Staats and a student from each Derby elementary school light the tree.
🟢 Santa Claus will be ready for photos with your little ones in The Pavilion. An instrumental ensemble from Derby High School will provide live music.
🟢 On the event lawn you will find free hot chocolate, cookies and kettle corn.
🟢 In The Venue we will have Cards for Troops, ornament giveaway and merchandise sales, kids crafts and another instrumental ensemble from Derby High School.
🟢 Grab dinner from one of our food trucks in the parking lot!
