Our beloved restroom at Hand Park has fallen victim to some overzealous Fourth of July celebrations. It seems someone mistook our facilities for a fireworks launchpad, and while we appreciate the spirit, the bathroom didn't quite survive the festivities.

All park restrooms will be closed from July 3 at 3 p.m. until Friday morning, July 5th. This will not include High Park restrooms which will be open for the City of Derby Fireworks in the Park.

Please remember to practice firework safety.
