🔥 FIRE EXTINGUISHMENT METHODS — KNOW HOW TO STOP FIRE

Fire doesn’t go out by chance.
👉 It goes out when you remove what keeps it burning.

Based on modern fire science fire needs four elements:
(Fire tetrahedron)
🔥 Heat
⛽ Fuel
🌬 Oxygen
⚡ Chemical Chain Reaction

🧯 4 WAYS TO EXTINGUISH FIRE

💧 COOLING (Remove Heat)
✔ Lowers temperature below ignition point
✔ Most common method
👉 Example: Water

⛽ STARVATION (Remove Fuel)
✔ Stops fire by cutting off fuel supply
👉 Example: Closing valves, removing combustibles

🌫 SMOTHERING (Remove Oxygen)
✔ Blocks oxygen needed for combustion
👉 Example: Foam, CO₂, fire blanket

⚡ CHAIN REACTION INHIBITION
✔ Interrupts the chemical process of fire
👉 Example: Dry chemical extinguishers (ABC, BC)

We want to send this reminder. Just because you go to the hospital by ambulance DOES NOT mean you will be seen any quicker. We do our best to explain this, but many are still surprised when they are placed in the waiting room like others with non-life-threatening conditions.
