We have amazing rehab partners that make saving orphans possible.
This poor kid was left behind after his mom was hazed out of an attic. Mom was seen taking babies away so the homeowner thought all was good. Unfortunately mom left this little one behind and he was found a few days later. We are keeping him warm and arranging transport to our licensed rehabilitation partner.
If you believe you have found an orphan wild animal and it is not in immediate danger, please leave it and call us. We are happy to give advice and if the animal is determined to truly be orphaned we will take it to a rehab facility. If you have to take it in while we work to get placement, DO NOT FEED THEM. Just keep them warm and dry. Milk products, even puppy/kitten milk replacer will wreak havoc on these delicate babies if they are not properly rehydrated first.
