Join East End Hose Company No. 3 for a fun family fundraiser and get your photos taken with the Easter Bunny! Bring the kids and even bring your pets for a special photo opportunity.

Derby Fire Department Public Service Announcement

The 2/22 & 2/23/2026 storm has begun, and conditions will continue to worsen overnight. Our volunteers are prepared and ready to respond.

• All department vehicles have been chained.
• Firefighters and EMTs are stationed at the firehouse.
• Crews are ready to respond to emergencies at any time.

Travel should be restricted to emergency vehicles only. Driving will be extremely dangerous and life threatening in the conditions we expect overnight.

Please stay home. When you choose to travel during severe conditions, you are not only risking your own life but also the lives of other drivers and our volunteers who must respond if a crash occurs.

Important Safety Reminders:
• Clear hydrants near your home when possible. Every second counts in an emergency.
• Clear exterior vents to prevent dangerous buildup.
• If power is lost, never run a generator indoors. Carbon monoxide can be deadly.

Safety is our top priority. Only leave your home in a true emergency.
