💊🚨 DEA NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY 🚨💊

📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026

It's time to clean out those medicine cabinets! The DeRidder Police Department encourages everyone to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day!

Unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medications can pose serious risks if they fall into the wrong hands. Proper disposal helps prevent prescription drug misuse, accidental poisonings, and keeps our families and community safe.

✅ Check your medicine cabinets for expired or unused medications.

✅ Never share prescription medications with others.

✅ Dispose of unwanted medications safely instead of throwing them in the trash or flushing them.

💙 A safer DeRidder starts at home! Take a few minutes to clean out your medicine cabinet and help keep potentially dangerous medications out of the wrong hands.
