Join us on Saturday, September 14th at the Walmart Derry parking lot for a FREE car seat check and installation! Officers and certified technicians will be there to help you protect your precious cargo from 10am - 1pm.

Don't need your car seat anymore? Bring it on down! We will be collecting unwanted car seats to make sure they are properly disposed of 🙂

Earlier this month, The Upper Room's teen community service group met with Karen Lincoln, from the Greater Derry Arts Council to help paint this mural at the Derry Central Fire Station. Staff and teens were thrilled to be a part of this project. Check it out next time you are in Derry.

We know…we know, back to school is almost here and it can bring a rollercoaster of emotions. There can be excitement, nerves, and maybe some stress.

Here is a tip to help make the transition smoother: Start getting back into the bedtime and wake-up routine one to two weeks before school starts. It can make those early mornings just a little easier when the first day of school rolls around.

This year, with many families struggling and schools opening only a month away, we decided to collect backpacks and school supplies to help make some kid’s back to school transition a little brighter! Bring your NEW items to the box office and we will distribute them through The Upper Room, a Family Resource Center in Derry to some families in need of a little boost. To sweeten the pot, we will be giving away a $100 gift certificate to one of the kind folks who take part in this drive! Simply give us your name and phone number when dropping off your items.
