Montgomery County Office of Agriculture Host of the Farm Tour event.

The Office of Agriculture (OAG) was created in July 2016 and exists to promote agriculture as a viable component of the County's economic sector as well as to preserve farmland as a resource for future agricultural production. By providing support to our farm community and working to educate our residents, the goal of the OAG is to promote Montgomery County, Maryland as a leader the agricultural industry.

Thank you, Montgomery County!

We loved seeing our community come together to celebrate and support local agriculture at the 2026 Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. From livestock and 4-H to local farms, food and agricultural education, the Fair is a wonderful reminder of how important agriculture is to our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, supported our agricultural community and helped make this year’s Fair special. We’ll see you next year!

Come out tonight or join us tomorrow, August 22, for the final day of the fair. Enjoy the sights, food, exhibits, local agriculture and everything the fair has to offer. Be sure to stop by and visit the Montgomery County Office of Agriculture booth while you’re here!
