Today, we mark the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances.

For the families of more than 1,500 people who remain unaccounted for, more than two decades have done nothing to ease their pain or end the agonizing wait for answers about the fate of their loved ones. Serbia bears a clear responsibility to provide all information in its possession and to take concrete steps to establish the fate and whereabouts of those who remain missing.

Kosova remains unwavering in its commitment to determining the fate of every missing person. The truth must come to light. Accountability and justice must prevail. And the families’ right to know the fate of their loved ones must be respected.

Sot shënojmë Ditën Ndërkombëtare për Përkujtimin e Viktimave të Zhdukur me Dhunë.

Për familjet e më shumë se 1,500 personave që ende figurojnë si të pagjetur, më shumë se dy dekada që nga përfundimi i luftës nuk e kanë lehtësuar dhimbjen dhe as nuk i kanë dhënë fund pritjes së mundimshme për të vërtetën. Serbia mban përgjegjësi të qartë për të bërë publike të gjitha informacionet që disponon dhe për të ndërmarrë hapa konkretë për të zbardhur fatin dhe vendndodhjen e personave të pagjetur.

Kosova mbetet e palëkundur në përkushtimin e saj për zbardhjen e fatit të secilit person të zhdukur. E vërteta duhet të dalë në dritë. Përgjegjësia dhe drejtësia duhet të vendosen. Dhe e drejta e familjeve për të ditur fatin e më të dashurve të tyre duhet të respektohet.
