We want to see EVERYONE at this year’s OneRun with DMPS! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This is such a fun way to bring our Oak Park families, staff, friends, and community together while supporting our students and our school!

✨ The best part? REGISTRATION IS FREE! ✨

You can run, walk, roll, cheer from the sidelines, or simply come out and be part of the fun!

ONE WEEK DOWN, PANDAS! 🐼

And what a week it has been! We may be a little late getting our staff picture posted, but we couldn’t let the first week of school come and go without celebrating the incredible Oak Park CREW behind the magic. ✨

From welcoming our pandas through the doors, to learning new routines, solving problems, sharing lots of smiles, and giving our students the love and support they need, we are SO proud of this crew!

Here’s to an amazing school year! We are so lucky to do this work together, and even luckier to serve our Oak Park pandas! 🐼

It was so great to see so many of our students and families at Meet the Teacher Night! Thank you for coming, meeting your teachers, dropping off supplies, and helping us get ready for an amazing school year!

📚 Reminder: Our first day of school is Monday, August 24th!

We kicked off the new school year on Friday with our amazing staff back together and some new faces and new roles leading the way! ✨

We’re excited to welcome our new Principal - Mr. Ward and cheer on a familiar Oak Park face as she steps into her new role as Associate Principal - Mrs. Gonzalez!

Our teachers and staff are busy learning, planning, preparing, and getting everything ready for our pandas to return. ✏️📚

We’re getting ready for an AMAZING school year, and we’ve made our supply list simple! 🎉

Students only need to bring:

🎒 1 Backpack
🧼 1 Pack of Clorox Wipes
🧻 1 Pack of Kleenex
💧 1 Water Bottle
📄 1 Ream of White Copy Paper

📅 Supplies can be dropped off at Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 20th from 5:00–6:00 PM OR on the first day of school!

Saturday the Panda Breakerz of Mr. Sans Build2BREAK got to perform at Iowa Asian Alliance 23rd Annual CelebrAsian Festival in downtown Des Moines. Over 40 Breakdancing students performed on stage in front of the roughly 80,000 expected in attendance. The group not only danced, but sang their hearts out together too. They finished off with a family photo with teachers and parents taking photos with the students and coaches.
