Salisbury House and Gardens

Salisbury House and Gardens Salisbury House & Gardens is a historic house museum and event venue. Museum open Wednesday - Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Self-Guided Tours available on a walk-in basis during open public hours. Guided Tours Available at 10:30 am; 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Advanced reservations strongly encouraged. Guided Tours are subject to availability and are limited to 10 people. Check website for special hours or closings.

We have new books on display in the library ☀

Our newest loans from Grinnell College Libraries are "Chariot of the Sun" by Harry Crosby and "Sun" by D.H. Lawrence, both published by Black Sun Press. Crosby was a well-known devotee of sun cults (hence the name of his book and press), and it is believed that Lawrence had similar interests.
