Friend to Friend America a 501 c 3 Non Profit FRIEND TO FRIEND reaches out to people with friendship on a one-to-one basis. We do this through trained volunteers enriching the lives of those we serve.

Each volunteer visits one resident a couple times a month at their convenience for a year. To the resident, having a visitor builds self-esteem and personal dignity. We know of four friendships that lasted more than 20 years and many volunteers have visited more than one resident. It is a fact that residents who receive visitors get better care. It is a win-win situation for all involved.

We are proud to honor the memory of Ann, a devoted volunteer and Eastside Coordinator who served Friend to Friend America for nearly 40 years.

Even into her 90s, Ann continued to visit seniors in nursing and assisted living homes — many of them younger than she was. Her compassion, consistency, and quiet leadership touched hundreds of lives and embodied the very heart of our mission.

Ann’s legacy reminds us that friendship has no age limit — and that one person’s dedication can truly change lives.
