Better a day late than never… but HAPPY WORLD PILOTS DAY to some of the best pilots. (Some not pictured) 👨🏽‍✈️🌍🚁

We are truly blessed with some of the best pilots.

From having to constantly deal with the med crew when we are hungry, reminding us to do our blood sugars, holding us so we don’t slip in the winter while loading the cot, listening to our medical garble, dealing with all the smells, and all the things in between, they are truly amazing and deserve to be celebrated!

Thank you to all of our amazing pilots, both full time and pool pilots! You are so appreciated!

LifeFlight 2 went and spent the day at Greene County Elementary for HERO DAY! They were joined by Iowa State Patrol Jefferson Iowa PD and the Greene Co Sheriff Deputy’s ! All the kids got to check out the cop cars and the helicopter. We were honored to stand by some pretty amazing services!

In the world of emergency medicine, no one is an island. It takes a synchronized chain of dedicated professionals to turn a tragedy into a recovery. Shout out to all the heroes we work along side daily!
