The ONCC Presented the 2024 Fly Quiet Awards at our Annual Meeting on May 9.

Awards are given in three categories: air carrier, regional air carrier, and cargo carrier, to airlines that had at least one average nightly operation at O’Hare in 2024. Based on data provided by the Chicago Department of Aviation, the top scores in each category were:
• Air Carrier - United (80.4 of 100 points)
• Regional Air Carrier – GoJet Airlines (85.9 of 100 points)
• Cargo Carrier – Qatar Airways (75.9 of 100 points)

“The ONCC appreciates these airlines being good neighbors to our communities and congratulates them on receiving the 2024 Fly Quiet Recognition awards,” said ONCC Chair Joseph Annunzio. “This recognition is given annually, and 2025 data is already being tracked. We hope this recognition will be an incentive to all airlines operating at O’Hare to be mindful of these considerations that help reduce the impact of noise on surrounding communities.”
