In a hard-fought battle in the Windy City, the Providence Catholic High School take home the 2026 Rivalry Trophy, 28–21. 🏆💪

Thank you to both schools for the professionalism, school spirit, and competitive drive displayed from kickoff to the final whistle.

The Marines of RS Chicago are proud to support events that bring our communities together and showcase the same qualities we value in our Corps—teamwork, discipline, commitment, and the drive to compete.

Everyone who steps onto the yellow footprints has a reason.

For some, it’s family.
For some, it’s a better future.
For some, it’s the challenge.
And for others, it’s the chance to become part of something bigger than themselves.

Your “why” is what pushes you forward when things get hard. It’s what reminds you why you started and who you’re doing it for.

The journey to becoming a United States Marine isn’t easy. It isn’t supposed to be.

Over the weekend RS Chicago had the pleasure of promoting now Gunnery Sergeant Noemi Cortez. Through hard work, dedication to the Marines to her left and right, and devotion to the Marines Corps. Gunny Sergeant Cortez has shown she has what it takes to lead Marines.

The Tiltrotor aircraft turned 38 this month.

On May 23, 1988 the V-22 Osprey, the world's first production tilt-rotor aircraft, made its debut at Bell Helicopter Textron's Arlington, Texas, facility.

Now it’s one of the primary aircraft of the Marine Corps.

First to be awarded: Barbara Schuessler, soon to be Downers Grove South High School graduate, 2026 NROTC recipient, but most importantly a future Marine Corps Officer.
